Trustees approve 1.5 percent tuition increase

Jacksonville State University did not increase tuition for a long time under previous leadership. Because of that, the new administration has increased tuition every year for the last three years to attempt to compensate.

I started covering baseball in Spring 2024 to fill in content gaps for the sports section. It was something new, but I learned it wasn’t so different from news.

Ivey passes bill banning DEI

I wrote this following the passing of a bill in Alabama that banned state funding of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion offices. I wrote about DEI for ADN as well.
